Ultrasound tech is a technology used to draw something isn’t visible using sound in ultrasonic frequency. Ultrasound commonly used in medical treatment and examination. Actually called Obstetric sonography. According Wikipedia, Obstetric sonography (ultrasonography) is the application of medical ultrasonography to obstetrics, in which ultrasound is used to visualize the embryo or fetus in its mother’s uterus (womb). Used to view baby in the mother’s stomach.

Not every people can operated this kind of medical equipment. Need special aptitude to do this. This special ability can learned in the ultrasound tech school. Special school that only teach about sonography. Sonography is another name of ultrasound, learn about capturing sound signal to forecasting a shape that doesn’t visible. For example, ultrasonography revealed a double lumen in the innominate and right common carotid arteries.

Many ultrasound technician school in the United States and Europe. In Asia, we just can find it in Japan, South Korea and China. In Indonesia, sonography are learned during midwife school, not in special school. So the equipment wasn’t sophisticated like in US or Europe and the technician aren’t so professional. In this country. May Indonesian school must increase their ability to create professional technician if they wont survive in globalization era.
